Float Legal Secretary-Mid Tier Law Firm Job in Sydney 2000, New South Wales Australia

Do you have at least three years experience as a Legal Secretary? Looking to gain more exposure to other areas of law? This role will provide you with valuable skills which most firms look for in a Legal Secretary. It is a definite enhancement to your career.

Based as a permanent member of staff, you will be highly valuable as you will be assisting all areas of the firm when needed to cover sick leave, holidays, gaps between resignation and hiring and unforeseen circumstances. As such you must have experience in the Legal Industry as you will need to be able to hit the ground running so to speak!

Your duties will vary from team to team, but will consist of:

Arranging travel

Diary management

Amending documents

Copy and dictaphone typing

Drafting correspondence

Liaising with clients

Filing

Screening calls

Plus other general administration duties as required

Exposure to a number of areas of Law would be ideal, with Property and Litigation experience desired. You will possess strong technical skills; a typing speed of 60wpm is the minimum requirement, together with an advanced knowledge of Word, and Intermediate Excel. You will have a flexible, willing and can do attitude, with the ability to get on with all levels of authority.
