FORKLIFT DRIVERS
DUTIES and Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will be responsible for the following functions:
You must lift; stack and un-stack articles and materials using diesel, electric and LP powered truck equipped with the different attachments. You must move raw materials and finished goods to processing or dispatch areas of the factory with safety being of the utmost importance at all times. You must make sure goods are stored in the correct area of the warehouse so they may be located easily when making up orders. You must load transport vehicles, making sure loads are evenly and securely placed. You must keep accurate records of daily operations. You must be able to read, understand and follow the production schedule. Qualifications Required: Previous forklift experience strongly preferred. This position is required to be certified by the Cascades Tissue Group program to operate a forklift, a roll clamp and a box clamp. Must be safety conscious and accurate in all work performed. Must possess detail orientation and awareness for both your co-workers and surroundings at all times. Strict adherence to all rules and regulations that surround material handling processes a must at all times and in all circumstances. Other Information: Safety conscious without exception. Ability to judge distance and follow all the designated traffic patterns and right of way . Must maintain a good attendance record. 12 hours shift work as required.
