FTSE 100 Telcos Business: Finance Business Partner
FTSE 100 telecommunications giant has an opportunity for a finance manager/ business partner for an initial six month contract that may become a permanent position. This role sits within a high growth area of the business focussed on providing the latest technical products, solutions and services to their clients. The role has arisen in response to the rapid growth in the sector and due to an investment in further technology.
This role sits within a team of four finance managers, reporting into the Finance Director for this division. This particular role will be responsible for almost 50% of the divisions revenue and is focussed on the latest technology, making this a high profile position in the company. There are two key elements to the role. The first is to take responsibility for setting the budgets and forecasts, overseeing the management accounts and producing all the analysis and commentary around the monthly management reports. The analysis and findings will then be used to challenge the business and drive improvements in performance. The second part of this role focusses around finance change as the business and product lines will be restructured and they will need to create new management accounts, reports, budgets and forecasts to support the business moving forwards.
To be considered for this role you must be a qualified accountant with a background in telecomms / IT industry who is capable of operating as a high quality finance manager / business partner. You will also be required to manage change so demonstrable experience in this area is required.
