Global Consumer Analyst, Asset Management Firm
Our client is a major asset management firm, with significant assets under management. They have a superb track record of returning strong returns to investors, and are now looking to add an Equity Analyst to their team to focus on global consumer stocks.
The role will work closely with the Portfolio Managers, making investment recommendations on investments in the broad consumer space which will encompass retail, household goods and personal care, beverages and other similar sectors. Day to day this will involve meeting the management of companies, undertaking commercial and financial analysis, financial modelling, writing investment recommendations.
Candidates will have a background as follows:
- sell side equity research analysts with at least five years + experience
- buy side equity analysts with at least five years + experience
- strategy consultants keen on making the move into asset management
- CFA and others invest professionals
Clearly, while experience in the consumer or retail sector is advantageous we are also interested in meeting professionals without specific sector knowledge if their backgrounds are outstanding in every other way.
