Global Electronic Salesperson

 This will involve pro-active prospecting methods, such as cold calling and using internal referrals. You will work with the trading team to maintain and grow revenue within existing global electronic accounts. You will be responsible for increasing trade volume and usage, generating new ideas, representing customer issues and presenting cross selling opportunities. Additionally, you will partner with the customer to understand their needs and bring feedback to product managers. You facilitate partnerships between ConvergEx and the customer to maximize product usage and revenue for new and existing customers.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in a professional sales environment at senior level, with the ability to develop and maintain new business relationships.  Has an understanding of market structure – dark pools/ algo’s etc, and a comprehensive understanding of e-trading products and tools.  Educated to Bachelor’s degree level in a financial or business discipline.  Current relationships with decision makers on trading at buy side firms a distinct advantage.
