Global Financial controller – Asset Management recruitment
The role also covers review and control of the statutory entities within the company. In addition, the Global Financial Controller plays a key role in the European business, operating as the CFO Europe, supporting the European CEO with financial analysis and business. This role is also expected to deputise for the CFO, when appropriate.
The key accountabilities for this role are;
• Monitor and report the UK European Asset management performance
• Interpret performance indicators and manage the reporting of actual performance.
• Ensure financial controls are in place and governance is maintained
• Provide guidance and advice to senior finance and business management, acting as a specialist resource.
• Management and development of staff
• Leadership over all regulatory and compliance matters and the management of operational risk.
• Production and analysis of timely and Group MI
• Review of the financial control of the company’s statutory entities
In order to be considered for this role you will need;
• Experience of communicating with senior and executive management
• A fully qualified, experienced professional accountant with knowledge and experience gained through a broad range of different roles and through a qualification relevant to the job.
• High levels of technical and professional expertise are required in order to provide guidance and advice on specialised matters.
• This individual is a highly autonomous professional, expected to pro-actively lead, manage, co-ordinate and monitor the work of more junior colleagues.
• Must be commercially astute as role is highly focused on the analysis of business financial performance.
• Asset Management experience is a necessity.
