Position Requirements:
This is a new role within the Fitch Group to develop and lead a global programme of investor development and research promotion. You will be responsible for a team focused on managing Fitch's relationship with the global fixed-income investor community.
The team is tasked with raising the profile of Fitch research and ratings commentary to all market constituents and encouraging a greater investor engagement with Fitch ratings, research, products and services. This increase in profile and engagement will be quantified by a broad range of metrics.This Managing Director role reports to the Business Management group.

Location: New York or London

You will manage a team with members based in major financial centres globally. The majority of the team is based in New York and London .
The team will be responsible for investor outreach across the Fitch Group:
• Overall leadership and coordination of Fitch activity across the buy-side community
• Research commentary promotion
• Enhanced information and market intelligence flow between Fitch's commercial and analytical teams

Responsibilities:
• Develop maintain new and existing buy-side relationships through meetings, calls, road-shows and events
• Identify global investment firms individuals of strategic importance to the Fitch Group
• Build global profiles for those key investment firms, driving account management at a senior level, ensuring they receive the full range of Fitch products/research/outreach to match their investment profile
• Partner and consult with business units on programmes that require investor outreach, coordinate campaigns, presentations and commission marketing materials
• Authoritatively communicate high level Fitch strategy and positioning statement, coupled with Fitch's broad stance on current major market/credit issues
• Ensure Investor Development team is well-briefed and capable to deliver high-level position across asset classes
• Facilitate direct market access to analysts to deliver the detailed sector credit view
• Develop and execute visibility campaigns for Fitch Group's ratings, commentary, products services to increase market engagement with Fitch
• Systematic, process-driven research promotion across all sectors
• Generate revenue opportunities by inspiring investor demand for Fitch ratings and pre-selling/promoting subscriptions, product services
• Contribute to the overall research strategy of Fitch based on investor feedback
• Recommend topics for research and events
• Manage effective internal communications and develop strong partnerships across internal groups (sector/region)
• Hub for communication and market intelligence between Fitch Solutions Business and Relationship Management ('BRM')
• Coordinate investor activity with the broader BRM group to ensure objectives are aligned
• Close liaison with Strategic Data Analytics ('SDA') feeding market information to that group and acting on SDA analysis and recommendations
• Strong coordination with the Marcomm team to direct eMarketing activity, ensuring effectively targeted campaigns

Requirements:
• Candidate must have a successful track record in senior-level relationship management and securing/building new relationships
• Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of fixed income investment strategies
• Proven leadership skills, preferably on a global/multi-region scale
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate others
• Highly motivated with excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to formulate and execute a strategic plan
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long term relationships
