Global Leading Consultancy – Senior Ledger Change / Finance Transformation
A global leading Consultancy is looking for a senior Business Analyst / Project Manager with a background in Investment Banking General Ledger Change / Finance Transformation who can effectively deliver the functional architecture for all general ledger change to assist the Investment Banks with their long term Finance Change Programme designed to improve ledger processes and support their application globally.
This position will suit a high-calibre qualified accountant with a proven track record of delivery as a Project Manager or Business Analyst, with a background in Financial Control Change / Finance Transformation and who is keen to develop valuable process designs that will make genuine commercial impact.
You will also participate in the governing of project activities, in validating process models with stakeholders and interfacing with other Financial Reporting workstreams.
As a Management Consultant, you will be working with clients within Investment Banking to provide Finance Risk Management services. Have excellent understanding of complex change initiatives in the global financial services industry.
Strong Business Analyst and Project Management skills and be credible working at a senior level with a proven track record of successful delivery of change initiatives in the Ledger Change area. This is a client focused role, therefore excellent communication skills are essential as is the ability to work under little supervision. You need to be delivery focused.
Solid CV with outstanding academics, numeracy, IT literacy and communication skills. Most importantly the potential to rapidly add value in this extremely switched on environment.
Candidate requirements:
-Qualified accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA or CA
-Strong SAP / Oracle
-Experienced in working in a financial accounting / reporting line role.
-Change experience delivering financial reporting / general ledger / Sub ledger projects / COREP.
-Strong stakeholder management
-Strong leadership skills
