Change Recruitment Group's client is currently seeking a Global Compliance Marketing Manager.
This rarely available opportunity for a Global Marketing Compliance Manager has arisen within a highly respected top tier fund management house based in Edinburgh.
One of the most prominent and instantly recognisable names in global financial services our client has a presence in all key international markets.
Our client operates a flat structure and the successful applicant will be given the opportunity to liaise and influence at Director Level.
This well rounded role will see you :-
- Manage and conduct reviews of financial promotions ensuring that all output is considered fair, clear and not misleading
- Provide guidance of local marketing regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement training for key staff on financial promotions topics
- Manage, maintain and socialise the firms financial promotions guide
- Seek to continually improve the controls around the marketing process, ensuring that marketing deliver improved outcomes for the production of marketing material to clients
- Produce reports for Senior Management on compliance monitoring and assurance activities.
- Handle routine compliance enquiries from the business and assist with other regulatory matters as directed by Head of Client Governance
- Liaise with second line defence functions to determine best practice/approach based on the interpretation of existing and new regulatory requirements
- Provide appropriate oversight of the gifts and hospitality register
Our client's business is structured in such a way that the successful applicant will be involved in working with a full range of stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have :-
- Comprehensive regulatory knowledge with a deep understanding of global regulatory requirements in respect of advertising material and financial promotions
- Previous exposure to approval of financial promotions
- Comprehensive knowledge of Asset Management industry
- A good working knowledge of the legal, compliance and regulatory provisions
