PTC’s Program Managers will possess expertise in effective project management principals, including those promoted by the Project Management Institute (PMI). He/she will be responsible for the deliverables, costs, schedule, and quality of projects and ensures quality project execution that is in accordance with services agreements, statements of work, proposals, and PTC implementation guidelines. He/she will plan and manage projects within pre-defined budget and ensures success by delivering a solution that meets the client’s requirements of functionality, cost and schedule.
This role requires the individual to have excellent oral and written communications. Interested candidates should also possess excellent customer relationship skills that inspire trust and confidence with customers and colleagues.

Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinates, participates in, and manages the delivery of written specifications to capture business process requirements for Windchill and other PTC solutions.
Develop winning proposals to address customer business needs.
Ensure clear understanding of the customer’s requirements and manages customer expectations.
Develop Management Plans (including task level project plans) as a means of communicating the project to the customer and implementation teams.
Communicates with PTC management, and project team regarding status and progress of project.
Collaborates with Client Managers, Program Managers, and Solution Architects in delivery of services by determining approach, scope, deliverables, schedule, risk mitigation and cost of solution(s).
Ensures project activity is in accordance with project plan and standards as outlined by the PTC Program Management Office (PMO).
Provides guidance on process, methodology and direct content review that will support the project team.
Participates in the development of and is prepared to implement the risk mitigation plan due to situations like loss of critical resources, loss of funding, etc.
Ensures the post implementation activities are supported and maintained properly.
Ability to manage diverse and multi-functional teams. Understanding of how to resolve staff and team issues.
Acts as a coach/mentors to other consultants

Preferred Experience/Education:
Masters or Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar with Technical Background.
10+ years project management experience
Prior MCAD or PLM experience
5+ years consulting and/or Team Leader experience.
Individuals with $2-5MM, $5-10MM program experience

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree.
5 years project management experience

Position requires up to 75% travel; may be required to be at client sites (USA), for long periods of time

Because of the consultative nature and travel components of this role, candidates will work from home offices,
and can be located in anywhere in the country
