Graduate Software Engineer - Peterborough
Role:
The applicant will work on a range of state of the art communication products as part of a small team to either develop RF, analogue and digital circuits, or to develop embedded and / or windows software programmes, or a combination of both. The majority of the work will be project based.
Person Specification:
Previous software experience in a commercial environment using C# or C languages
Experience of development for both PC based applications and embedded applications
Proficient in design for and use of Microsoft SQL Server
Knowledge of communications systems equipment specification, design and test
Experience of digital signal processing techniques, would be an advantage
Proven experience in design engineering position
Good interpersonal awareness skills, relationship building ability and team working/building ability
A pragmatic approach
Good problem solving and organizing skills
Basic planning and organisation skills
Commercial awareness
Good customer and results focus
Education:
1st or Upper 2nd Class Degree in Electronics or Software related engineering subject
Good A Level (or equivalent) grade results in science subjects and proven Maths competence
