Group Compliance Coordinator 
 

My client is a well-established property insurance specialist and they are looking for an experienced Compliance resource, who will be responsible to the Head of Group compliance and act as Group Compliance Coordinator.

 

The primary responsibility of this role will be to perform central regulatory services, maintain records, address compliance risks as requested and co ordinate follow-up activities for the Group Compliance function.

 

We are looking for an individual that will provide support on compliance initiatives in a proactive manner addressing the lower level risks whilst escalating the higher level risks, this may be through the creation and delivery of training. The role will maintain my client's internal compliance intranet page with the latest relevant information helping with the on-going development of a compliance culture. This individual will not only be resourceful, but self motivated and approachable, with a desire to develop.

 

The Group Compliance Coordinator will assist with the production of periodic reports for management, keep abreast of the latest regulatory developments, whilst maintaining effective relationships throughout the businesses to facilitate the dissemination of relevant information. This individual will be decisive and confident with the ability to communicate to a wide and varied audience.

 

This individual will be integral to the coordination of the group compliance function, maintaining records, diaries, policies and communication between the function and the business units.

 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

Able to demonstrate some knowledge of Treating Customers Fairly principles

Experience in an FSA regulatory environment, ideally insurance.

 

Salary circa £30K depending on experience + bonus and benefits
