Group Financial Accountant For Global Travel Business
My client is a market leading Travel business based in central London who have experienced significant growth in the past few years on a global scale.
They are looking for a technically minded Group Accountant to join their finance team for a duration of 6–12 months to complete an IFRS conversion project. The primary duty within this role will be to lead the conversion and implementation of IFRS from UK GAAP reporting standards.
Primarily, the Group Accountant will be required to apply their technical accounting expertise in preparing Group Financial Reports, Consolidations and Statutory Accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP. Furthermore, you will be reviewing and documenting global accounting policies in accordance with IFRS, as well as being involved with other ad hoc projects.
My client is looking for an ACA qualified accountant with a background of having recently worked in a blue-chip company, and must have demonstrable evidence of completing an IFRS conversion. They are looking to interview immediately and will only consider candidates with immediate or one weeks’ notice and the relevant experience and qualifications specified.
