The Role
The Head of Carbon Research Forecasts will manage the Carbon team globally, and will be responsible for representing Thomson Reuters in the international Carbon markets. They will play a vital role in setting strategy for the business.
The Head of Carbon Research Forecasts will be responsible for:
• Differentiation of Eikon through Carbon Research Forecasts capabilities
• Development and sales of commercial models that complement Eikon
• Events and activities around internal training
• Building the Research Forecasts brands
• Development of new capabilities and differentiation strategies
• Reviewing, eliminating and rationalizing things that are not delivering value
• Supporting the integration of Carbon Research capabilities into Eikon
• Quality and accuracy of Carbon research forecasts deliverables
• Developing people and building a high performance organization
Required:
• 10+ years’ experience in the Carbon markets with a large portfolio of contacts in this industry
• Candidate needs to be a well-known quantity in the Carbon market
• Experience of leading analyst teams - 5 years
• 10 years’ + experience in research, modelling and analysis of Carbon markets
• Pragmatic business leader with significant management experience
• Original Thinker
This role will involve about 25% global travel.
