Our client is one of Canada's leading small business tax specialists and they are looking to hire an entry level Field Sales Rep! They help to minimize income taxes and maximize assets! This Canadian born company started in London, Ontario in 1952 and they now service over 50,000 clients across the country!
Our client is currently seeking to hire a Field Sales Rep that will be responsible for building new business. Specifically, in this role you will be responsible for prospecting, cold calling, presenting and closing new business. All sales are B2B (small-medium sized businesses) and this is a home based outside sales role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Present and sell tax preparation and tax/financial planning products and services
- Achieve set goals and sales targets;
- Ensure maximum market penetration, seeking out and developing new business opportunities through lead generation such as cold calling, networking, and referrals, as well as maximizing opportunities from inside sales appointments, pipeline management and trade shows.
They are looking for self-motivated and career-oriented individuals who:
- Have the ability to take a short sales cycle from call to close;
- Have a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Are self-motivated, hungry, very driven and have an entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent computer skills – must be able to leverage technology (laptop, phone, pipeline management system) and team members, such as other sales professionals and customer service staff, to drive sales; and
- Have exceptional organization and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- No experience in the tax/finance field is required – your expertise should be in sales! Our client is open to all industry experiences (retail, advertising, car sales, independent or franchise business owners, etc. ) If you have worked in a 100% commission environment or a highly driven commission environment, you will be very happy here!
Our client offers 2 compensation packages – either 100% commission with a commission rates ranging between 28-53%; or a small base salary and a lower commission rate. Commissions are uncapped. On target income in your first year will be $60K+. The top rep earned $150k in 2011!! Full benefits: including medical, dental, extended health, life and disability insurance. A T2200 is also provided at end of year for all business related tax write-offs!
