Home Care Inc. and Merrimack Valley Hospice are looking for qualified, compassionate, dependable Certified Home Health Aides CNAs / LNAs in the Lawrence, Lowell, Newburyport, Haverhill and Peabody areas to provide care for our clients.
Responsibilities may include assisting our clients with personal care, feeding, ambulation and transfers, meal preparation, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and companionship. All candidates must have a valid Home Health Aide Certificate or a current CNA/LNA license in MA or NH.
Flexible Hours - days, evenings, nights and weekends available. Position requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Reimbursed for mileage and travel time.
Benefits available for positions working 24 hrs or more including health insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement and more.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A mature person who is at least 18 years old.
2. High school diploma or GED preferred.
3. Successful completion of the required training program for CHHA’s as recommended by the State of Mass. and has demonstrated competency, or currently enrolled in nursing program (completed Fundamentals of Nursing course).
4. Able to understand and carry out directions and instructions, record messages and keep records.
5. Able to read printed words in English.
6. Able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and writing).
7. Able to provide own transportation to patient's homes.
8. Tact and sensitivity in dealing with emotional or stressful patient situations.
9. Physically and emotionally capable of performing the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill MA is looking for CNA’s per diem for all shifts and full time, 11-7 or 3-11, to care for the terminally ill patients who can no longer remain at home, but wish to remain in a home-like setting, while receiving comprehensive end of life care.
