Description:
Responsible for all aspects of home loan servicing from reviewing new loan setups to assisting members.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processes loans within authorized limits and according to credit union and regulatory standards.
- Provides information to internal and external parties, related to home loans; supports the meeting of established processing times and funding goals; maximizes opportunities to build new loan relationships.
- Works effectively with team members to facilitate the efficient and successful processing of home loans.
- Communicates professionally with members and vendors, as evidenced by outstanding member survey ratings; provides accurate information and conducts timely follow up.
- Able to make appropriate decisions and escalates matters requiring higher authority to management; Supports the Credit Union's efforts to identify and report member transactions in accordance with Bank Secrecy Act.
- Maintains high level of customer focus through making appropriate contact, supplying pertinent information, and assessing additional needs.
- Interacts with members, title companies, realtors, and other parties, to obtain items needed for loan processing and closing.
- Maintains all loan documents safely and securely and processes loans in a methodical manner that ensures efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:
- Must have HS Diploma/GED
- 2 years to 5 years' experience in mortgage environment, including 2 years' experience in mortgage loan processing
- Proficient in MS applications, including Word and Outlook.
- Experience using DU and loan origination system(s) preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Type: CONTRACT
Duration: 60 - 90 Days
Pay Rate: 20.00 - 22.50 Hourly DOE
