IC Product Engineering Manager Job in Santa Clara 95054, California US
Manages all phases of product engineering to ensure the successful development of new and/or improved Analog and or/ Power Management products from IC/package design and development, to qualification and manufacturing release. Functions as the central resource with IC design, package development, manufacturing, quality and test as the product(s) move to completion and distribution. Ensures that products developed meet specifications and quality goals. Formulates and executes long term plans for cost/profit control. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Adheres to department goals for planning, development and implementation of product engineering
Attends meetings and provides input to the product engineering team to enhance systems and methods
Ensures quality products are developed at minimum cost through effect use of materials, equipment and staff
Interfaces with other departments to resolve product engineering issues
Manages the development of systems to maintain reports and record keeping of product engineering parameters
Ensures product engineering team observes established safety rules and conducts experiments in related product area in a safe manner
Provides training, support mentoring as needed
Perform data analysis and continuously improves quality
May be exposed to noise, dust, heat and cold. Safety equipment may be required in designated areas
EDUCATION
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, M.S. preferred
EXPERIENCE
10+ years experience in analog/mixed signal area coupled with strong people management, presentation, PC and communication skills
