Technical Accountant
The Role:
• Monitor the latest accounting /regulatory / legislative changes impacting the Private Equity and Property industry in order to draft technical updates
• Provide monthly updates to discuss latest developments and accounting implication based on different GAAPs
• Provide technical advice and training to all members of staff
• Provide specialist technical support and conduct appropriate reviews of financial statements for funds that involve expert technical private equity and property knowledge
• Ensure the highest standards are maintained in service delivery and all internal / external deadlines are met.
Your Profile:
• You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with the appropriate level of experience for this type of role
• UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS experience is essential
• Experience of managing a small finance function is highly desirable
• Previous Private Equity / Real Estate experience is a must
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently at all levels, both internally and externally
