Investment Business Writer

Our client is an ASX listed, boutique funds management business based in Sydney, specialising in Global equities and global listed infrastructure strategies and employs a team of 60 people. The group currently manages in excess of $11bn of funds for both Institutional and Retail Investors based locally and offshore.

The Investment Business Writer will report to the Manager of the Performance Reporting team which is responsible for the provision of accurate and timely information for prospective and existing clients, major research houses and global asset consultants.

This person will be primarily responsible for generating business and investment commentary for existing clients, prospective clients, major research houses and consultants. The work is also a key component of the marketing strategy pertaining to the existing product suite. Specifically, duties will include:

The successful applicant will ideally posses at least 3 years post graduate investment management experience accompanied by excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to work autonomously.   The group is a very high calibre team and this person must be proactively contributing to ideas and processes.

In attracting and retaining the best people in the market, the salary package will be commensurate with the experience of the successful candidate, and in addition to the salary package component there is a bonus scheme and the potential for participation in the employee share plan.
