Investment Counsellor
My client is a European subsidiary of a privately-held investment management firm that manages portfolios for high net worth private clients and some of the world's preeminent institutions. Their organisation has grown significantly within the financial services industry over the past decade and they are now searching for highly talented finance professionals to join their team as Investment Counsellors in their London office to work with clients in Denmark, Sweden and The Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee high-net-worth client relationships
- Communicate current market strategy and portfolio updates to assigned clients
- Act as the liaison between affluent clients and the organisation’s investment decision-makers
- Gain advanced finance and capital markets education through their training and mentoring program
- No prospecting, cold-calling or sales – the Organisation furnishes all of the clients
Qualifications:
- Native or Fluent Danish, Swedish or Dutch language skills AND English (Native/ Fluent). Other Native/Fluent European language skills in (Norwegian, Finnish, French, Spanish or Italian) beneficial.
- Investment industry or financial services success
- Investment Advisory experience extremely advantageous
- Extensive experience in and knowledge of local account types, wealth management concepts and Taxation Laws within the home market context
- Applicable finance experience and knowledge of financial markets and capital markets
- University Graduate
- Efficient and organised time management skills
- Dynamic communication skills
- Highly articulate and personable with a strong, professional work ethic
FSA or IMC qualifications preferred
