IP Design Engineer
Our client based in Dublin currently has a permanent opportunity for a Core Network IP Design and Development Engineer. The role purpose is the design, dimensioning, test specification, documentation and maintenance of new and amended networks, platforms and related systems. The design specifications will be carried out in accordance with agreed international standards, and strategic policies.
Key skills and experience required include:
· Relevant Third-level qualification, or equivalent professional experience
· Experience of providing effective input to Reference IP network Architecture from design and monitoring network compliance with the architecture.
· Demonstrated strong capability for IP Technology capacity management and exploitation
· Experience of effective IP technology vendor management, selection and roadmap development
· Strong capability to develop and implement IP network solutions.
· Demonstrated effective experience in supporting IP technology bid/product response
· Experience of effectively delivering cost reduction on IP technology platforms
· Experience of effectively exploiting IP technology network monitoring systems and IP technology optimisation
· Demonstrated strong capability for IP Technology capacity management and exploitation planning.
