IT Manager ( Hedge Fund / Private Equity ) recruitment
Our client is a leading asset management company in Asia with more than 70 investment staff and branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc. Its AUM size is over US5.5bil with wide range of asset classes, e.g. hedge funds, Private Equities, Venture Capitals, Real Estates and Public Funds, etc. To cope with their expansion in Hong Kong office , they are currently looking for high caliber candidate to head up their IT department.
IT Manager
Duties:

Report to the Senior Management , the IT Manager is responsible to head up the IT Department

Overall IT planning and management for company and its affiliates in different locations, including IT budget management and IT total solution providing.

Take a leadership role in ensuring the existing IT infrastructure can meet all legal and compliance requirements.

IT infrastructure management covering LAN/WAN network, back-end servers, front-end workstations, Polycom, video conference and IP phone.

Manage IT budgets, cost controls and vendor management for all offices. Also ensuring all local IT related business needs are addressed in a proper timely manner.

Business process management: enable and integrate existing or new business processes into the IT platform;

Documentation of parameter settings, authorizations and release / fixes; preparation and supporting in case of IT audits;

IT support to website maintenance and updating;

Other tasks as required upon business needs
Requirements :
-
Bachelor Degree or above , preferably from Technology related disciplines

More than 10 years of working experience in IT field with more than 5 years in a management role

Experience from banks, investment banking or financial holdings is highly preferred

Excellent people management and communications skills

Excellent command of Cantonese and English , Fluency in Mandarin is preferable
