Junior Real Estate Portfolio Analyst
Our client is an exciting and unique asset manager based in London, they have a very strong working culture in place and are keen for young up and coming individuals to join this. They recruit up and coming, entrepreneurial individuals and are currently searching for a candidate with around 1 years experience in investment within the real estate asset class.
Ideal Profile
- Relevant degree at 2.1 or above from top academic institution or equivalent.
- Degree with substantial number content (science, engineering, economics, etc)
- 1 years’ work experience majoring on financial modelling work
- Real Estate or Real Estate finance background
- Likely working in bank, Private Equity fund, Real Estate fund manager, RE advisory
- Exceptional excel skills
Role description/Team Overview
- Provide assistance with research, performance, fund positioning, valuation and financial modelling.
Work will include
- Development of generic and short-form models to support business development (including into new RE subsectors)
- Development of detailed models for new funds (complexity and or amounts of data depends on nature of fund investments and fund structure)
- Improvement, standardisation and oversight of models for existing funds (including supporting asset monitoring and fund reporting)
- Assisting with presentations, investor and marketing material
The financial models will not involve large volume data manipulation or data importing, complex maths or complex programming (albeit some VBA required) or statistical simulation (at present). The individual will need to be a client facing personality and be willing to take on ad hoc duties. The candidate must also be very commercially aware.
