LATAM Equities Analyst – Blue Chip Long/Only Investment Fund
A world-renowned Institutional Asset Manager based in New York is looking to expand upon its Latin American Equities desk by adding a specialist within this market coverage.
The fund is an emerging markets equities Hedge Fund within the global Investment Manager and this would be to come straight as the lead analyst for the LATAM equities desk. You will report directly to the Senior Fund Manager, who covers GEM equities and has managed two major Hedge Funds in New York.
The role promises an excellent pay structure and a five year route to fund handling and portfolio construction within the LATAM desk.
Responsibilities of the role:
- You will cover a generalist perspective upon LATAM equities, with a major focus upon Brazil. The main sectors covered will be Utilities, Natural Resources, Banks and Telecoms
- The lead analyst role reports directly to the globally renowned senior fund manager, and this role is to head up the fund's lain American equities desk
- In-depth rigorous bottom-up analysis of stocks, and so buyside experience in Global Emerging Markets or Latam equities is essential.
In order to be considered for the role, the right candidate will display the following traits:
- A strong track record of over four years in the Long/Short buyside equity space in the GEM or LATAM markets
- Stock pick in a rigorous, bottom-up and fundamental in-depth research
- High and strong track record of individual and fund performance
- Excellent financial background, detailing constant employment and steady progression
