LDI Client Relationship Executive recruitment

Principal Client Relationship Executive responsibilities:

  1. To provide an exceptional level of client relationship management support on designated LDI client portfolios on behalf of Client Relationship Managers, acting as a first port of call for a client in the Client Relationship Manager’s absence. Work independently but be responsible for and proactively seek to build internal/external relationships with clients and other departments.
  1. Proactively seek to support your relevant Client Relationship Manager’s, providing technical support with regards to sales opportunities, attending meetings and conference calls where required and take sole responsibility for audit and operational meetings when opportunities arise.
  1. Demonstrate a high level understanding of the client decision making process and long term objectives. Be able to answer complex queries as well as identify business opportunities and threats.
  1. Possess a high degree of technical knowledge with regards to liability driven investment strategies, derivative products, segregated investment, products, brand, services, competitors in the market and market trends, enabling you to discuss solutions with clients and consultants.  
  1. Be accountable for changes to client mandates and Investment Management Agreements, demonstrating that you are able to project manage these changes through to completion.  Produce and check legal documentation, reports and client specific data relevant to the clients investment strategy.
  1. Continually seek areas of improvement, identifying and implementing efficiencies as well as taking an active role in projects that will benefit both clients and the business.

Candidate Profile

Experience working within a LDI environment (asset management or investment consultancy) as well as experience in providing an exceptional level of client service

Demonstrable track record of dealing with external clients and building significant relationships with external contacts up to and including senior levels

Strong overall Investment knowledge including an understanding of the different investment vehicle options

Strong negotiation and  interpersonal skills as well as written communication skills

Leadership qualities with the desire to optimise team and individual performance

Must possess a good level of ‘gravitas’ and maturity which comes across well to internal and external clients
