We are currently seeking Loan Officers in San Antonio, TX.
The Loan Officer will perform sales and interact with credit union members from their initial inquiry through their loan closing.
As a Loan Officer, you will:
· Exercise excellent customer service skills
· Exercise excellent communication skills, including handle high call volume, face to face sales opportunities, and/or converting telephone and on-line leads into loan applications and closings
· Be a team player
· Demonstrate significant time management skills
· Meet established production and timeframe goals
· Originate loans
· Initiate processing,
· Price and lock loans
· Obtain all documentation and support information as required by the products and loan programs
· Communicate with applicants and all file related vendors
· Clear underwriting contingencies along with loan processors
· Coordinate loan closings with our closing department
Must be available to work OT as needed and be available to work on weekends as caseload requires.
This position requires:
· Minimum of 3 years verifiable successful residential loan origination experience
· Must have FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA and Private Institutional Investor product experience
· Experience with automated underwriting systems (DU and LP)
· Current knowledge of all compliance regulations (RESPA, MDIA, TIL, REG Z, ECOA etc)
· Ability to demonstrate knowledge of all secondary market products
· Excellent interpersonal telecommunication skills, sales ability, and time management skills are mandatory for success
Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is highly sought.
