Job Title: Logistics Analyst Requisition Number: 18170 Job Category - Department: Engineering Employee Group: Regular - Full Time Relocation: No Travel Requirement: 10% Work City: Detroit WorkZip: 48202 Position Description: The Logistics Analyst is responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement tools to design Supply Chain Solutions in current and future operations. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation or related field or 8 (eight) years equivalent work experience * Intermediate level skills with MS Word such as including styles, mail merge, tabs, tables, columns and breaks, graphics, fields, headers and footers, working with margins, page orientation, and spelling/grammar. * Intermediate level skills with MS Excel such as freezing/unfreezing panes, hiding/un-hiding data, setting print titles page breaks, linking workbooks, creating external links, re-directing links, customizing toolbars menus, protecting a worksheet, filtering options, and chart formatting options Additional Requirements: Experience in working with Transportation design is required. Must have proficient experience with MS Office to include advanced use of Excel and Intermediate use of Access. Experience in working with the Customer at multiple levels is required. Experience working with Transportation Management Tools is a plus. Experience in Automotive or Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry is a plus.
