The Lubricants Global Supply Chain employs over 2,000 staff providing support to the lubricants businesses. Global Supply Chain’s 38 manufacturing facilities and 3rd party suppliers provide high quality lubricants to automotive, marine, industrial, aviation and energy business across more than 100 countries through regional and country based teams. The UK and Ireland customers are supplied from facilities in Europe through the 3P Logistics and Warehouse facilities. The key warehouse contractor is DHL, there are five depot locations in Scotland and England serving marine, energy and offshore business.

The Logistics Manager role is a development role that has been established to aid succession within the organisation. It would suit an individual who is looking to develop their career further within supply chain/logistics, educated to degree level (or equivalent) preferably in a logistics/ supply chain related discipline.

The management of the 3P contractor performance will be via contractual KPIs (HSSE/Operational/Financial) and at all times seeking business improvement / efficiencies. This performance analysis and improvement will be achieved by the development and implementation of a 3P contractor key performance measurement tool, a tool you will be responsible for developing. In line with this analysis it is crucial that performance gaps are identified and corrective/preventive measures are implemented to avoid re-occurrence. You will hold primary responsibility for the marine, offshore and PGO depot activities ensuring operational effectiveness and efficiency at all times.

You will also support HSSEQ management for all 3P contractors participating in all HSSEQ / CAP audits and ensure compliance of DSS (Driving Safety Standards). As well as assisting the HSSEQ Manager to ensure compliance of all BP HSSE standards for all 3P contractors and support as required for investigations.
