Loss Control Consultant Job in Los Angeles, California Us

Are you a Loss Control Consultant who is also a road warrior and enjoys spending time working with agents, clients and underwriters?  If so, our client has the perfect position for you.  Our client is a National PC Commercial Insurance Company and due to profitable growth is seeking an experienced Loss Control Consultant to join their operation in the Los Angeles, CA area, (Los Angeles or North).  The territory will be the state of California, as far north as Sacramento.

You will be responsible for providing loss control services to clients as well as working with underwriting and marketing to achieve retention and growth goals.  This position requires overnight travel two or three days per week.   This position requires that candidates have experience with large plants as well as smaller shops in secondary woodworking risks, e.g., cabinetry, millwork, etc. Candidates should have strong computer skills and be comfortable working in a paperless environment.

You must have a minimum of five to eight years experience with a PC Commercial Lines Insurance Company as well as a bachelor’s degree in a professional field, (such as Occupational Health and Safety).  Experience must include property, casualty and liability.  You must have a working knowledge for regulatory standards, (OSHA, DOT), as well as local and national codes, (NFPA, ICC).
