Amazon.com is looking for a driven, experienced business leader for our Software business. The role includes managing a team responsible for vendor relationship management and negotiations, driving sales/marketing/promotions, pricing, and improving overall efficiency of the organization. The candidate would be responsible for meeting revenue, margin, profit, and process/efficiency improvement targets. Additionally, the candidate will play a leadership role outside of the candidate?s direct team in areas such as operations, retail systems, and process improvement. This is a key leadership role in one Amazon?s strategic businesses. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen and excels in analytics, people/organization management, data-driven decision making, process improvement, and negotiations/vendor management. The candidate will have proven experience delivering results both within and outside his/her organization. The successful candidate will utilize and expand skills in e-commerce business management, vendor negotiations, and team leadership. Responsibilities Include: Develop and lead team of Vendor Managers. Develop and lead strategy for all vendor negotiations on an annual basis. Develop and lead weekly, monthly, and annual business reviews. Drive cross functional collaboration on necessary systems and processes to support business needs. Exceed financial targets: revenue, margin, and contribution profit.
