Mid-Senior Sales

Department:

Part of the Americas Sales franchise, the team covers the entirety of the US markets including Canada offering a wide range of financial products across asset classes: Interest Rates, Foreign Exchange, Credit, Commodities, Equity etc. My client is a global player across banking and capital markets. My client offers an exceptional benefits programme and highly competitive compensation package.

My client are looking to add a senior salesperson with experience selling g10 or emerging markets currencies in order to contribute to the Americas client franchise and generate new business opportunities. The prospective candidate will be given ownership of accounts from day one and be expected to contribute to the growth of the American business by having existing calls in to the hedge fund / fast money markets (Depending on profile, please note candidates with coverage of real money or institutional clients may be considered also).

Daily responsibilities (including but not limited to):

-          Marketing the bank’s currencies products to hedge fund / fast money clients in the Americas. Depending on profile, please note candidates with coverage of real money or institutional clients may be considered also.
-          Daily account coverage of clients specifically in the Americas
-          The chosen candidate will be responsible for the sales of FX / Foreign Exchange products, working closely with the Head of FX Sales predominantly and also the Head of FX Trading and FICC Sales.
-          Close interaction with Trading, Research and DCM teams
-          Increase the flow across current distribution channels by working closely with other internal key stakeholders
-          Manage your client portfolio pro-actively – up-sell products to both new and current clients, producing relative value trade ideas, marketing to clients
-          Producing revenue, growing existing client portfolio

Requirements:
-          A MINIMUM of 5 years (more senior candidates welcomed also!) industry experience in currencies sales on the sell side
-          Must have market knowledge, interest, and experience in FX / Foreign Exchange industry including a thorough knowledge of g10 or emerging markets currencies
-          Ability to expand the current Hedge Fund / Fast Money account list within the American Region
-          A proven track record of revenue generation selling g10 / em currencies
-          Ability to work under pressure and within an international environment
-          Familiarity with electronic trading / payment platforms etc
-          Strong academic record
-          Excellent communication and presentation skills
-          Entrepreneurial
