This is your opportunity to work for one of Australia's leading producers of iron ore, with multiple sites across Western Australia. Being a rapidly expanding and progressive company, you will work in a diverse and exciting team environment. This role is urgent and start date is immediate.

The position exists as an all-round Mining Engineer role, where you will create and implement drill and blast designs, collate and compile daily, weekly and monthly reports, and assist the Planning Engineer with the preparation and development of the Medium term plan. You will provide engineering support to the Quarry Manager and the Registered Manager, and assist other members of the operational team. You will prepare the weekly plan and measure progress against it. The site's daily production report will be prepared and validated by you. Ensure the safety and health at work for yourself and your colleagues, and become familiar with and comply with safety policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will possess a Degree in Engineering Mining and a Drivers' Licence. It is desirable for you to have a WA Quarry Manager's Certificate and a St John's Senior or Remote Area First Aid certificate. You will be experienced in open-pit mining practices, and fully understand contract mining operations. Your use of mining software, preferably Vulcan, will be competent, as well as your use of MS Office suite, in particular excel. This is an exciting contract role for a hands-on Mining Engineer.
