MINING ENGINEERING INTERN

We are searching for a Mining Engineering Intern for our soon to open Fairmont, WV office. The Mining Engineering Intern will work under the close supervision of engineers and scientists, responsible for providing engineering support related to engineering and environmental projects including investigations, assessments, engineering studies, designs, and construction-phase services. In addition, the Mining Engineering Intern will have essential duties and responsibilities that will also include: Performing engineering calculations; Supporting the preparation and analyzing of reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, cost estimates, specifications, construction schedules and design reports; Performing field assignments; and, Supporting investigation and construction projects, including monitoring progress and ensuring conformance to engineering plans and specifications, as well as construction and safety standards.
