Focused on improving all aspects of their business, they now require a supervisor for their Truck and Shovel operation at an ever expanding mine site.
This role has come about due to the continued growth of the fleet and the crews that are growing daily. In this role you will have the opportunity to work within a group that has been newly created and are certainly ensuring that they are going to be the number 1 employer in the Basin.
The Mining Supervisor - Truck and Shovel will operate on a 5:2 roster and be no more than 3 hours from the coast. It is a role where you will lead a team of direct reports to ensure that there is a cohesive buy in from all of your crew. It is of high importance that you manage these relationships within your team and also work autonomously with the mine planning and maintenance teams. This is a hands on role, and not a role where you will just be delegating.
To be successful in this role you will have had:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Effective planning and improvement ideas
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and communicative skills
- Mentoring and leadership qualities
- A focus on budgetary requirements (cost effective management)
