MIS and Projects Manager – Regulatory Reporting (Job Number: 1311215)

This role will be part of a team within Client Service Delivery Control Risk. The team will be responsible for support, validation, preparation and coordination of AUCA/RC-T submission to Regulatory Reporting.

Overall responsibility to support the Program Manager – Regulatory Reporting, to ensure that management information tools and reporting used to support the environment across all areas are consistent, sound and ensures that the team is meeting client needs. The incumbent is responsible to independently manage various MIS and control projects as well as support MIS tool development activities and manage financial budgets related to developments.

Qualifications

University degree preferred. Excellent project management skills and proven ability to work independently. Programming experience in COBOL / SAS / ACCESS / MS/SQL / ColdFusion / Javascript / HTML / BI tools. Knowledge of DB2 / Oracle Dbase. Understanding of control and risk issues. Analyze business requirements and interpret Business needs to develop / automate / enhance reporting tools as well as perform User Acceptance and documentation. Minimum of 7 years experience in operations, internal audit, risk or other similar function preferred. Minimum of 8 years experience in development support of mainframe distributed applications implementation support of vendor products would be desirable.

Candidate will have strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as solid technical and PC skills. Ability to easily translate technical requirements and jargon into business / layman terms.

The job ensures that tools are in place and operating effectively to support generation of MIS, tracking of issues, coordination of Regulatory Reporting activities.

Candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills and may be required to interact both with managers and staff within the unit as well as other operational and shared service units. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Must be able to adapt to a changing environment.
