Description

BNY Mellon Asset Servicing is seeking to develop a number of new services to support the sales and distribution of funds, in particular UCITs funds that are the distributed globally. A number of parties are involved within the sales and distribution of funds and within EMEA Asset Servicing there is a limited range of services aimed at these parties and at helping our clients sell their funds.

This is an important part of the value chain for funds and we have the potential to increase our revenues in this space. We are therefore looking to create the role of DSS Service Delivery Manager to help the development of services around distribution. Initially the role will focus on two new products, Marketing Support Services (MSS) and Distributor Workbench (DWB). Beyond these are opportunities to develop services to support the direct distribution of funds, to develop enhanced MI around funds distribution and to look at new opportunities for global funds distribution.
- To support the DSS sales process. This will include:

- Documenting client requirements through the contract and SLA development process

- Preparing Statement of Works in respect to service definitions and delivery

- Working with Legal and Pricing team to ensure services are correctly contracted and priced.
- Managing the on-boarding of new clients. This will include:

- Helping build and oversee client take-on plans

- Working with global operations to ensure all stakeholders are informed and understand their individual responsibilities

- Development of client specific process and procedures

- Preparation of management and client status reports
- DSS client service delivery. This will include:

- Working and coordinating with operational and technology teams across global operations to deliver services

- Act as client interface to resolve service delivery issues

- Maintain log of service performance, identify and manage process enhancements

- Host and manage regular service review meetings

- Preparation of management and client service delivery reports
- Managing any changes to DSS services. This will include:

- Establishing a change control process with clients to log, assess and schedule any changes to the services or outputs

- Ensuring that changes are accurately documented, estimated and discussed internally before a commitment is made

- Helping document commercial terms in respect of modified services.
- Outsourced vendor service delivery. This will include:

- Preparing Statement of Works in respect of service and system enhancements

- Oversight of vendor deliverables

- Hosting regular service review meetings.

Qualifications

Self-starter with a determined entrepreneurial spirit
· Experience of managing and working with virtual teams
- Strong analytical and project management skills and track record
- Through understanding of the funds business (ideally with a background in web based technologies and data management)
- Experience in the development, production and distribution of funds marketing collateral would be a key advantage
- Excellent Execl, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, MS Project skills are essential
- Experience of supporting the sales process
- Experience of client management and reporting
- Versatile and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of DSS business development
