Mobile Apps Development Lead
We are a dynamic and growing software company located in scenic County Cork and with offices and staff located in Cork, and in the Far East and the USA. We develop innovative software products including very high profile iPhone and Android applications for the global market, primarily the USA market, and we are now recruiting a Mobile Apps Software Development Lead for our development team. This is a key high profile senior level role, it’s a permanent full time role, and it’s based onsite in our software centre located in County Cork.
Role:
• Using your expertise and passion, guide the Mobile Apps technical team through the various technology options, ensuring that our technical strategy is aligned to our market/ customer requirements.
• Transforming ideas, high‐level business requirements, strategies, market trends, development standards and best practices into innovative mobile solutions.
• Quickly prototyping and iterating ideas, using Agile methodologies.
• Continuous research into the latest trends and development in the mobile platform technology sector.
Required Skills/experience:
You have already demonstrated your technical and creative abilities in the mobile apps development space. With a solid background in software apps development, you have highly developed programming skills, with at least 2 year’s mobile application development experience in Java/J2ME, Objective C/Cocoa framework, iPhone/iPad or Blackberry or Android application development. You are confident of you ability in mobile application architecture, frameworks, and UI design, and you are au fait with the latest trends in the area of web technologies. In addition, if you have experience of XML (SOAP or REST web services) this would be useful.
You have a strong understanding of design principles and you have a unique ability to translate complex functional/business requirements into effective real-world mobile applications.
You have the ability to clearly articulate creative ideas to your team and you have a passion for learning new technologies.
