MOBILE GRAPHICS SOFTWARE PERFORMANCE MANAGER #1373188

NVIDIA is hiring a manager with a strong proven affinity for graphics performance optimizations for desktop or mobile platforms, as well as system level architectural skills. The candidate further has excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The position requires hands-on technical leadership for a growing mobile software team, which is part of a world wide organization, creating cutting edge mobile platforms using NVIDIA Tegra super chips.

The team's mission is to provide the best possible graphics performance for existing products, and help identify and architect architectural software and hardware changes for future products related to graphics performance for the Tegra line of super chips. The team takes a whole system approach to graphics performance, and optimizes CPU, GPU, bus and memory bandwidth usage, caching effects etc.

Role includes driving and setting graphics performance goals, creating, implementing and improving work flow and processes, developing engineering talent, and providing excellent communication between local teams and the rest of the mobile organization. You will be responsible for hiring and career development of team members, as well as providing world class leadership and technical expertise, both within the team and throughout the organization.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent level of technical knowledge and understanding of whole system performance issues.
- Strong familiarity with the C development cycle, competent programming skills.
- Strong Linux or Android development experience.
- Knowledge of system software, kernel architecture, and hardware interfaces.
- 3D graphics knowledge, preferably with OpenGL or OpenGL ES.
- 2D and multimedia knowledge a plus.
- Strong experience in good software engineering practices, at both the engineering and management level.
- Have a proven track record of success in technical management, especially in managing senior s/w engineers, and working in international organizations.
