POSITION:                          Mobile Therapist

Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services

 

PAY GRADE:                       Contract Employee

 

WAGE:                                  $25.00/hr. (as a minimum)

 

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS:                      

 

-                      Monitors and evaluates the Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS) provided to consumers in home and community settings ensuring quality service delivery.

-                      Provides behavioral health rehabilitation services including Behavioral Specialist Consultant and Mobile Therapy.

-                      Assists in the implementation of short and long-term program goals, ensuring compliance to all governmental rules, regulations and agency policies and procedures.

-                      Provides consultation to staff and technical assistance to contractors through staff meetings and conferences.

-                      Assists with the development of all BHRS plans and other plans, for assigned caseload, related to funding source expectations.

-                      Assists with interviewing, training, scheduling and evaluating of all program staff, and the coordination of program outreach.

-                      Prepares and submits appropriate correspondence, records, reports, and documentation in an accurate and timely manner

-                      Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:          

-                      Master's Degree in Social Work or related social services field, with experience in BHRS services and/or the development of behavioral interventions.

-                      Demonstrated knowledge of governmental program regulations and policies and other social service providers available to eligible clients.

-                      Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the Pennsylvania State Police and child Abuse Clearance from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.

-                      Ability to operate a variety of agency vehicles safely;

-                      Ability to pack and transport mentally and physically challenged consumers;

-                      Ability to inspect and recognize violations pertaining to program regulations.

-                      Ability to work independently following established policies and procedures, including emergency situations;

-                      Ability to display an empathetic attitude in caring for the consumer;
