Mobilization Strategy Director
Responsible for establishing the company's reputation as a socially responsible corporation in local and global communities. Oversees execution of corporate giving programs, community based programs, matching gift and employee volunteer efforts. Create long term global sustainable business vision and strategy. Work with Senior Nike leaders to create the practices and infrastructure required to create a sustainable business. Ensure development of tangible, globally and regionally relevant plans with measurable outcomes and metrics. Manage through influence the global efforts of a very diverse set of individuals and functions within Nike to implement sustainability principles and practices. Direct, manage, mentor and support team in pursuit of sustainability agendas. Ensure that Sustainability Department researches, develops, disseminates and oversees initiatives designed to further the corporate business strategy. Drive the development of sustainable materials and product agenda. Lead and manage Researchers, Sr. Designers and Project Managers spearheading sustainable innovation projects. Identify and capitalize on brand and market opportunities in a new, quickly evolving sector. Ensure that Nike is seen as and remains a sustainable business thought leader in the industry and in the business community at large. Develop and build a network of external partnerships to drive the industry changes Nike requires in order to execute on its strategy.
