Motor Claims Handler - Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Our client, a world leader of their field within insurance is seeking Motor Claims Handlers (27.5 hours per week/flexible between 9.00-5.00 M-F) to join their team. Reporting to the Team Manager, this is a varied role within our clients' business offering an attractive salary and benefits. Details include:

Case ownership
Awareness of and compliance with SLAs

Functional Knowledge:

Solid history of Motor AD/TP/PI claims handling.
Customer focused - providing the best service to our client.
Quality focused role - providing quality, value-added - reports and correspondence on time and accurate.
Team focused - working with colleagues throughout the business to achieve a common goal.
Proactive - helping to enhance customer service, quality and ensure targets are met.
Competent use of technology
General Background, Experience Professional Qualifications:
Excellent customer service, organisational communication skills with a proven record and experience of dealing with Motor claims on a desk top basis.
Managing a mature portfolio of higher value motor PI claims.
Must be a good Team player

Key Responsibilities:

Dealing with telephone queries, day to day within agreed service criteria.
Processing invoices, both interim and finals, referring where necessary
Reviewing cases and workflow in a proactive manner and taking action to move claim forward, referring where necessary.
Ensure work prioritised effectively.
Case ownership - to deal with claim from cradle to grave, referring upwards in accordance with Licencing levels.
Awareness of and compliance with service criteria throughout work
Ensure personal targets are met.
Responsible for own personal and professional development and advancement
