Specific Job Description Leads all aspects operationally and technically for the entire Aircraft Final Finishes Facility (AFF) and Manufacturing Operation. Activities includes execution of manufacturing/application of Finish coatings, facility and capital planning, tool utilization, manufacturing plans, work flows, and staffing plans. Establishes the direction at the SWBS level, or multiple SWBS level, for manufacturing planning, manufacturing engineers, industrial engineers, quality engineers, production control and inspection for AFF. Responsible for Strategy and Tactical execution. Coordinates employee recruitment, training, performance, work assignments, etc. Ensures adherence to company and JSF program policies and procedures. Standard Job Description Manages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
