Multiple Quant Research/Trading & Development positions – World class electronic market makers London US and Asia recruitment

This well established Electronic Market Making firm have had another spectacular year and are in the enviable position to be able to invest in addition headcount within their Quant Research, Trading IT infrastructure.  They are renowned for their Market Making ability and systematic trading infrastructure (market access, latency etc.), quality of staff, collegiate (jeans and t’s) environment, and flat management structure.   They are looking for Staff in London, US and Hong Kong Singapore.

Trading / Quant Research Positions…

(They are happy to consider entry level candidates with a PhD / postdoctoral background through to experienced hires with up to c.5/7yrs relevant experience)

• PhD or Postdoc from a world leading academic institution in, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science etc.

• Exceptional problem solving skills

• A sound grasp of computer science fundamentals and programming  (ideally in C++)

• An understanding of financial markets and innovative.

• They will consider experienced hires from all asset classes including; Equities, FICC, FX or Options Market Making / flow trading environments.

Technology positions….

(Developers and Quant Developers with c.2yr to 5/7yrs experience)

• Exceptional undergraduate degree from top university in computer Science/Engineering (ideally). Strong A level results (or equivalent) is also important.  

• Technology stack is C++, Linux, Boost although they will consider smart candidates with knowledge of any primary OO language.   

• Knowledge of multithreading, socket level programming, core algorithms and data structures. Any experience of Python would be desirable too.     

• All of these development positions will sit directly in a business (with access to the models and trading strategies for those that are interested.

• Quant Developers will also need a strong grasp of Mathematics (naturally).

• Prior experience within finance is NOT necessarily an advantage. They are looking for deeply technical individuals from hi-tech backgrounds such as Telecoms, Gaming, and Industrial Research/media Labs etc.
