NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The National Account Manager will be responsible for the sustainable and profitable development of our business with 4 strategic accounts accounting for about 35% of total Belgium Retail business of the company: Delhaize, Makro and Provera/Resuma. This is a strategic role for a driven, result-oriented and entrepreneurial candidate, willing to leverage a first successful experience in Key Account Management in a top FMCG company. The key challenge of this role is to reach the financial targets (sales, profit, shares) with customers with whom we have a strong and positive relationship, and to keep the Trade Spend under control in a challenging environment. The NAM will also coach and develop a Junior KAM in charge of Provera/Resuma along with other smaller accounts. The NAM will report to the Belux Sales Director located in Belgium.

Key responsibilities

 

·         Customer Business Development and Relationship Management

              *Deliver the financial targets: Net Revenues, Market Shares, Profit

              PL management: Improve the profitability of the account (% of Trade Spend) by optimizing our Trade Spend (Rebates, Promotional Coupons)

              *Improve the visibility of our brands in store (Distribution, Share of assortment, shelf, display)

              *Improve the customer relationship (Scorecard, Joint Business Plans, Top to Top)

              *Team-up with our Trade Marketing and Field reps to activate the agreed plans in store (selling tools, presentation to reps during Sales Meeting)

·         Coaching of one junior KAM (Belux Provera, Resuma, and other accounts). Support the KAM during the negos and key meeting. Develop and track the training plan of the Junior KAM.
