Network/SBS Administrator Job in New York 10003, New York US
Small-but-growing IT consultancy with architectural, non-profit, and professional services clients looking for a versatile, detail-oriented senior network administrator with a customer service focus. A BS in Computer Science is preferred but the right candidate might convince me it’s not required. Demonstrably excellent verbal and written communication skills and a road-tested sense of humor are absolutely essential.

Significant experience with Microsoft Small Business Server is a must and fluency with ALL of the Microsoft Office programs is assumed. Candidates should have programming and/or scripting skills. If you don’t know Active Directory, Exchange, and networking protocols (including DNS) like the back of your hand, this position is not for you. Experience with multiple backup, antivirus, and VPN scenarios is very important.
