Nurse Practitioner Job in Atlanta, Georgia US
Minimum Qualifications:
4 Education: Master’s Degree or higher required. Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in the state of Georgia is required.
Experience: 5-8 years of related experience as well as experience working with Infectious Diseases.
4 Provides assistance and support to physicians and other medical providers in assessing, planning, and providing patient care.
4 Comprehensive knowledge of the theory, principles, techniques, and practices of professional nursing and of scientific principles and nursing research.
4 Comprehensive thorough knowledge of clinical management techniques, procedures, and policies.
4 Knowledge of healthcare administration.
4 Strong leadership and managerial skills to develop short and long range planning and define goals and objectives.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May supervise other employees within the department.
