Our Cardiology dept is currently seeking Nurse Practitioners to join its prestigious team.

This fast-growing Cardiology Service includes busy state-of-the art Cardiac Cath, Echo, Nuclear and Electrophysiology Labs. All of our nurses have had extensive training in cardiac critical care and maintain EKG, BCLS, and ACLS certification.

This recruitment is for an Attending Only Nurse Practitioner run service; The NP will be responsible for admitting, creating a diagnostic plan, and caring for patient admitted from the Emergency Department. NPs would round and work directly with Cardiologists.

10 Linsky is a 30 bed Medical Cardiology Unit with the capability of monitoring 30telemetry patients. This adult population includes patients with chest pain, syncope, heart failure, and arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation. They require cardiac monitoring and excellent assessment skills.

This is a challenging, fast paced, telemetry unit. Strong interaction with Attending Cardiologist, Ability to attend daily conferences and for research.

Customer service oriented, ability to work in fast paced environment dealing with a wide range of cardiac issues, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and strong clinical and computer knowledge, dedicated, efficient and organized. Ability to take and give direction in a professional manner. Must be a team player and cool under pressure.

Min requirements
Graduate of NP program
Two years of Cardiology experience
One year critical care experience
BLS and ACLS certified

Preferred requirements
Cardiac experience as an NP
Computer Proficiency
