Occupational Health Nurse Job in Nottingham, Midlands Uk
The Business is a major Blue Chip retailer and you will be providing OH services for around 37 Stores throughout the Nottingham / Derbyshire areas - a fully expensed car is included in the package.
Provide OH services to all areas of the business nationwide as directed by the Occupational Health Manager.
Maintain own professional development and ensure appropriate level of competence and performance in accordance with NMC standards and company requirements as directed by Occupational Health Manager.
The post holder must have:
· Qualification in general nursing and ideally a specialist qualification in occupational health nursing.
· Experience of occupational health practice.
· Knowledge of current health safety legislation.
· Expertise in communication and negotiation in a supportive manner.
· Knowledge of large multi site organisation.
· Understanding of business processes and related health matters.
Have an appreciation of the potential biological and health-related threats to a complex national food retailing organisation e.g. understanding of food handling issues / illnesses etc. and be able to advise accordingly.
