Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. General knowledge of the interactions between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-operations processes (e.g., Engineering, Business, Logistics). + Process Management Skills General ability to determine the process to be used to accomplish goals, properly document processes, support people and activities, understand how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow, identify opportunities for synergy and integration, and simplify complex processes. Basic Qualifications For Consideration Do you have a minimum of five (5) years experience implementing health and safety programs in a manufacturing environment? Do you have previous experience leading a team in the implementation of Health and Safety programs? Typical Education/Experience Other Job related information The preferred candidate will have a solid background in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) that encompasses compliance, self assessment, and knowledge of Safety and Industrial Hygiene fundamentals, and experience in a manufacturing environment. Team leadership, high ethical standards, goal orientation and process focus are essential for success. Knowledge of lean principles is desired. Experience in working with Employee Involvement teams to encourage problem solving and solutions by the team is preferred. Experience with OHSAS 18001 implementation desired.
